    atilla's getaway
    Campsites in
Atilla's Getaway is a great place to relax, make friends, have fun and above all, eat good homemade Turkish food! It's 2.5 kilometers away from the center of Selçuk, but every so often there's a van that passes by to take you to the village or the campsite. A guy named Carlos drives, he's a good guy. He helps you with everything you need and he and tells you everything you might need to know. The owner of Atilla's Getaway is a Turkish-Australian, who built the campsite with his father. It is open from April to November, as everything is outdoors. Everyone is backpacking, the atmosphere is great. You will enjoy.

    selvili kosk hotel
    Hotels in
Did I want a house ottoman? In this beautiful hotel I had one. What a blast! The Ottoman houses were built two hundred years ago by families well off by the wood business. In Istanbul there were many, but they have been devastated by fires over time. Fortunately, they are trying to recover them and several have been converted into hotels, especially in Sultanahmet. But Safranbolu Ottoman houses are authentic. They have remained immune to changes over the year. The Selvili Kösk is perhaps the most impressive display. Huge, with fully carved ceilings, antique ornaments, wide plank floors with rugs wonderful, tiny windows covered with bobbin lace, the hotel is like a dollhouse. The rooms are spacious, you lose yourself in the big bed and bathroom, all wooden, which seems a bullring. Spending a night here is like going back in time.

    sugar beach club hotel
    Hotels in
If you planning on visiting Ölüdeniz, it's the best choice for several reasons, you have several options but some are really cheap as you can camp for 5 € or basic bungalows for two people costs 30 € per night. It is different from other existing deals and hotels are more expensive and exploited by foreign tourists. Also the camping service is very good and the beach is especially suitable for children and those who like the calm water, it's a blue flag beach.

    mavi guesthouse
    Hostels in
Mavi Guesthouse. The guesthouse is right in front of the hagia Sophia walls. This means that it is in the heart of Sultanahmet, the main tourist area of Istanbul, but with the advantage of being in a fairly quiet area and it has some cheap food shops nearby. The price per room varies slightly depending on whether you want a shared room, single or double, but the price is always around 8-12 euros per person per night. Turkish breakfast is always included (boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, cheese , honey, jam ...) The bathrooms are shared and most are fairly clean, and the hostel has internet charged that you pay for in euros (price almost standard across Turkey), it is possible to hire buses to almost anywhere in Turkey and one with community television. There are two immediate things that make this property highly recommended: the magnificent views of Hagia Sophia from the roof which are absolutely fascinating and every night is lively in the common room. Workers, travelers and friends sit together in this small, cozy lounge to chat, play backgammon or drink Efes beer (the best beer in Turkey). The price is also very competitive, as the hotels in this area are often very central so rates are sky high. A highly recommended option for backpackers and for those who like meeting people and making friends.

This clean and simple hotel offers a variety of accommodations suitable for all budgets - from double rooms with a private bathroom and television to dorms at very affordable prices. Rates may vary from 10 to 30 euros and with breakfast included. Its proximity to the major sights of Sultanahmet (only a hundred meters from the Santa Sophia, for example), the friendliness and availability of its owners, and the fantastic views from its terrace are some of the points that work in its favor. A tip: If you go to Istanbul without a reservation during the high season, it is very unlikely that you would find accommodation throughout the city. As a last resort you could ask the hotel if they would allow you to stay inside this fantastic terrace that has the best possible views of the city even while you are going to sleep. That's right! Surely the recitation of five o'clock prayer in the two adjoining mosques will awaken you. (I recommend using earplugs to sleep.) It all depends on what kind of night you are looking for; I slept on the deck under the stars and I can say it was an experience I will never forget. best nobel hotel
    Hotels in
Perfectly located in the Sultanahmet district, 100m from the tram stop gülhame. If you want you can go walking to Istanbul tourist sites such as the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Near the hotel there are a variety of places to eat cheap that have typical Turkish tea. We received poor service, the staff didn't even make a minimal effort to speak a bit of Spanish. Price --- perfect quality. Breakfast a little weak because coffee was awful. I give a poor grade to the poorly hung TV without international channels and an emergency door in the same room which is perfect for whoever is there but the rest of the rooms have to pass through there. You can see everything in the photos. It's not perfect but I would return.

    monastery cave hotel cappadocia
    Hotels in
A mere 5 kilometres from Urgup in one of the most charming villages in the area, this charming hotel has a prime location, yet quiet. Escaping the most famous and tourist places in Urgup and Goreme, here you can stay in a former monastery that has been converted into a hotel with some rooms excavated in the rock and other newer that are very well integrated. One of the hotel's caves has been renovated so that you can have a drink in the evening mingling with the locals and listening to traditional music. Although the restaurant/cafe needs a little updating, as do the rooms, you can enjoy a great Turkish breakfast included in the price. As an additional service, there are several computers with free internet, but being in an isolated place, you'll forget the "digital lifestyle". The owner Ercan was our tour guide, who knows the area well, also speaks Spanish (few Turks in the area do), French, Turkish and of course, will provide a lot of information on routes and less touristy, but impressive, places in the area. He will also pick you up at the bus station when you arrive. If you are looking to stay somewhere with charm, history, and quiet at a reasonable price, then think about this hotel.

The Arden Hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet, halfway between the Grand Bazaar and Aya Sofia. The location is unbeatable, the cafes and restaurants are within two blocks and the tram and is also ideal for those who don't enjoy walking everywhere! This hotel is fairly small, and it has has 36 rooms across 8 floors. Our room was a triple room and was situated on the first floor. It was spacious and airy. The room only had one fault, the dim lighting in the bathroom meant that you had to look hard in the mirror to see. Breakfast was quite varied, with sweets, yogurts, cereals, juices, cheeses, fruits ... Even after 7 days and I dodn't know what to eat! I recommend it to everyone who wants to be in the heart of Istanbul!

    traveller's cave pansiyon de göreme
    Apartment Hotels in
The beautiful village of Göreme has many affordable places with excellent views: the Traveller's Cave Pansiyon is no exception. You can have a double room for six euros per person. This place is cut into the rock. An a la carte breakfast is included and there are views of all formations of Cappadocia! In addition, the staff is excellent, they have Internet, you can leave backpacks there during the day for free ... The small restaurant terrace has a stunning view; Inside, during cold weather, everyone gathers around a cozy fire while eating delicious Turkish cheese or French toast ... The rooms look like something out of a story, you feel as if you suddenly turned into a gnome and lived in a fireplace in the rock. Clean sheets without a musty odor... Yes, the shared bathroom has no heating and that, in Cappadocia, is a small problem when it's time to take a shower! Besides all this, you will meet a lot of people from Asia, since most of the employees are from this area of the world, and it attracts a lot Korean, Chinese, and Japanese tourists ... The nights at the inn are hilarious! A place to remember, the best and the cheapest of all the hostels I've stayed in Turkey.

After traveling within Turkey, arriving at Kas and staying at this little hotel was a gift for my body. The accommodations were rustic and maybe somewhat depleted. The White House is in a quiet area of Kas but just minutes from downtown and the harbor. Its eight rooms are simple but spotless and tastefully decorated, with bathrooms and windows that allow the fabulous sea air in.

    perissia hotel & convention centre
    Hotels in
When we booked the circuit by Turkey, one of the things that didn´t convince us were the hotels we would be staying in, the 1st in the area of Cappadocia, we were given 3 options, and in the end we do not know if it was by bad luck that we had Perissia. The price of the 2 days we were there staying is good, but the hotel is divided into 2 parts, the old old building with no elevator and contemporary superior rooms and elevator, and of course we had the old part. Others are intended for the Japanese tourists who they charged an extra. Nevertheless we were lucky that our room was on the ground floor, so we did not need the elevator, and across from the restaurant and pool, so we can not fault it, the room was quite small for three people , tiny closet, where we just dumped the bags, because the stay was short and we had only the necessary. The highlight is the restaurant, the best in the circuit, even though Turkish cuisine is not my favorite, this restaurant was well stocked both at breakfast and dinner, there was variety to choose from. Another highlight is the pool service, super-clean, and almost always empty, too bad we had a tight schedule. The best without doubt was the view, especially at sunrise, unmatched .....

With 5 stars, it is one of the best hotels of Cappadocia, but too big for my taste, as it has 350 rooms spread over many blocks. The food, a buffet, is very good, both in quality and variety, and the pool is very nice as well.

This hotel has an unbeatable location from which you can see all of the valley. It's quite expensive, the rooms as well as the spa, but the hotel certainly offers many treatments and rooms, pools (both indoor and outdoor) and the other facilities are beautifully maintained. It shows that it is a relatively new hotel. Yes, it is impossible to reach an agreement with the employees as they only speak Turkish. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and everything is built respecting the environment.

Not near the beaches (although there's plenty of transport options to take you there), but in the centre of town, making it a fantastic spot to enjoy the evening. The hotel is unpretentious, and VERY cheap. The staff are awesome - friendly and welcoming. The rooms are small, but once you see the garden and the swimming pool, you won't mind!

This simple and cozy guesthouse was my good accommodation in the city of Safranbolu (Turkey). I remember that there was a friendly owner, with his impeccable smile who runs budget accommodation that is in the uptown area. We share a room that's big enough for four and very clean, with a style inspired by the contrast between the pure white and dark wood. Very traditional. I also remember that they homemade rose petal based products, such as our breakfast marmalade. On the top floor there were huge trays full of petals and it was a very pretty picture. I would go back.

If you come to Istanbul for the first time you can not stay in any other neighborhood than Sultanahmet. This is where the landmark buildings are located and where Istanbul has its earliest origins. The neighborhood is full of little hotels, among them the Pension Side. Located in the heart of Sultanahmet,it is basic but clean, with plenty of hot water. It's comfortable and great value, the best thing about it is its terrace. From there, where you can have breakfast and an evening picnic with your food, you can see the domes and minarets of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The views are amazing of a few places, and you areso relaxed, you'll see them up close. The photos of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque that attached are taken from the terrace of Side, sipping a beer at sunset. Incredible ...

    saban inn, olympus, antalya
    Bungalows in
I came to Olympus because after Cappadocia we wanted to visit the Turkish coast, mostly the Lycian coast. My friend recommended Ahmet Olympus: He said it had an amazing beach, ruins of an ancient Lycian city and a young and relaxed atmoshpere. He told me something that left me surprised: According to him, Olympus people lived in huts on the trees. I took a 12 hour bus to Antalya and from there a combination to Olympus. The place was idyllic, rustic, lost in a valley between mountains. I took the time and dreamed of Olympus and its beach where a few decades ago backpackers and hippies made it home. They slept where they could, until things started to organize and wooden cabanas were constructed against and over the trees... In one of those huts I stayed. I chose the Pension Saban, I found it to be the best. My bungalow had everything I needed and was spotless. Saban is the quietest pension in Olympus as it occupies a large woodland garden with hammocks and sun loungers, and a bit removed from 'Centrito mini' Olympus, where reggae sounds blaring day and night. Another advantage of Saban is good food, breakfast, and your hostess Meral, a girl who was born in Olympus and has much to tell.

    gulhane corner hotel
    Hotels in
It is 3 star accommodation and located in the Old City, just minutes from tourist areas such as the Blue Mosque, Spice Market and Hagia Sophia. Among the services offered by the hotel are: Wi-Fi (access is available throughout the hotel), air conditioning in every room as well as flat-screen satellite TV. There is a minibar, a desk and a private bathroom. It is the perfect location as it is within easy walking distance to the main parts of both the old and new parts of the city and the Bosphorus. In case you need it the tram stop is a little over 150 meters away and alongside this there is a taxi rank which is certainly one of the main advantages of the hotel. The value for money is good, prices typically range between 45 and 70 (double room) Euros per night depending on dates and season, the hotel and the rooms are very new as it only opened its doors in the 2nd half of 2010 , breakfast is fine but really not too varied, as is common in Turkish hotels of this standard it consists of cheese, bread, olives, cucumber, tomato, and milk and juice. The hotel can arrange excursions and entrances to several places, but always with a small charge. You can reach the hotel by taxi (with an approximate cost of between 18 and 22 euros) and small trucks organized by the hotels in the area and priced at around 5 euros per person each way.

    thermal polat hotel

I was very fortunate with this hotel, because I didn't choose it, but it was assigned. It is located very close to the pools of Pamukkale, only 8 minutes by bus. Even though it is a 5 star hotel, the food is poor, the waiter service is not too good, and it was a bit too crowded. To have 300 rooms on two floors just to get to your room you had you hike, yes the room was spacious with a king size bed and two singles, the downside was that I was infected mosquito, the hotel Surrounded by gardens, and consequently insect ... I left the positive to the end, the pools, when we arrived after a long bus journey, the first thing we did was change us and throw us into the pool like crazy, has several: A thermal mud and a replica of a volcano in the middle , one indoor, one outdoor and an aquapark. It also has a spa with massage for just 25 euros, pity we did not have time, had to choose between massage or Spain-Chile game obviously chose the latter, placed a giant screen on the terrace of the hotel bar and there the whole group, we joined in a single cry: Spain!!
