The Lebua Hotel, is a 64-story amazing skyscraper where you can find 5 restaurants, a swimming pool on the 16th floor, a gym, a beauty salon and a rooftop bar (the Sky bar, photo), where you can have a drink or dinner, enjoy wonderful views of the city with the river just below. A luxurious corner where any middle class European can have a grand experience. If you want something different pass through the most authentic Chinese neighborhood in the city.

It is the tallest building in the city, which also happens to be a hotel with 88 floors. We had dinner, with buffet, and the top floor is a wrap-around terrace so you can see all the parts of the city. I have some night time photos and others when were around for the day.

    Bangkok
The Imperial Queens Park Hotel Bangkok is conveniently located in the Sukhumvit area, which offers people from all walks of life with a great value price. It has a luxurious hall, several conference rooms, 2 pools, gym, massage and beauty clinic, several restaurants and an excellent service. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are quite comfortable and you have to pay for the internet (for a change). I was lucky to go to Bangkok in December, a few years ago. It´s a popular destination for people travelling from Japan for a short holiday (4 or 5 days). Although it´s a 5 hour flight from Osaka, it´s very cheap, and the Japanese love to play golf. Because of the time I went, in addition to the good temperature, there weren´t too many crowds of people and I enjoyed all the services without any delays or problems. In the hotel you can also hire tours to other parts of Thailand, but I still consider it better to hire free transport if you know what you want. I have included a couple of videos recorded by my friend Roberto de Peru, in which you can see what a standard room looks like and also one of the pools.

royal orchid sheraton hotel and towers

    Bangkok
The Royal Orchid Hotel is a five-star hotel on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Very nice staff - they let us into our room at 10:00 in the morning, which was just what we needed after a 13-hour flight. The room was very spacious with a large window facing the river. The view was beautiful, especially at night. The bathroom was large, too, and everything was very clean. Great breakfast with everything, even ice cream! There are also several restaurants in the hotel and a casual terrace overlooking the river. The downside - the wi-fi is free only in the reception area and it costs five dollars an hour otherwise. It has two pools, one on a terrace that looks out onto the river and the other in a garden surrounded by tropical plants.

This five star hotel is popular with Lufthansa for its crew. It has a drinks bar and a DJ, and the staff are always very helpful; even the security guards have a smile on their face. They'll help you, ensuring you always get into a taxi with an English-speaking driver.

    montien bangkok hotel
    Hotels in
    Bangkok
The Montien Bangkok Hotel is one of the most centrally-located hotels in the city as it is located just opposite the Patpong night market, and it is one of the basic hotels that include the majority of tour operators within the packages. I personally did not like it much, because even if the area is excellent and it´s right next to the Sky Train, I think the rooms left a lot to be desired (bearing in mind that most people who go to this hotel takes a basic room, not an executive suite which offers much more). I also thought that the hotel buffet seemed very simple, compared to other hotels I have stayed in and those that I was visiting because of my promotional trip to Thailand, since one of the things that I take most advantage of is visiting the hotels to later sell them in Spain with confidence. Personally I would always advise that if you have a very limited budget you should go to this hotel, but if not, I would recommend any of the other hotels we stayed in.

    shangri-la hotel

    Bangkok
Considered one of the world's best hotels, it is located along the Chao Phraya River with stunning views, especially at night. It is a boutique hotel that competes in this city with the Peninsula Hotel and Oriental Hotel, which are both also splendid. It has many details and services which makes it appropriate for special occassions and is not exactly cheap. There are massage parlors, spa, gym, boutique .... And all in the purest of oriental style mixed with modern flair make this hotel an unforgettable place to stay. It is 200 meters from the sky train and is perfectly placed for exploring all of Bangkok smoothly. I'll slowly getting some video. Here you have one from the room at dusk from the hotel terrace. It is in front of the Peninsula Hotel and the endless river boats all lit for strolling, or just cruiser boats moving to other places. Hope you like it and greetings to all travelers.

    vabua asotel bangkok
    Hostels in
    Bangkok
Vaboir Lodge Hotel is located in the northern part of Bangkok. It is in a good location for a big city like Bangkok. It has all of the attractions at more or less the same distance. As we were going to move around the country on a few occasions and we wanted to return to the same hotel each time we chose this one as it was not too far from the airport and not too far from the temple area or the shopping area. From this hotel, to get down to the shopping area we got a taxi to drop us off at the metro stop called Ladprao as the road is very long and from here we could go to different places such as the pratunam market area, Chatuchak, mbk, Hua Lampong station, etc... Its not the best hotel if you only want to go to the temple areas as there are no transport services except taxis or tuk tuks. To get to the temples or to Khao San Road we would go directly by taxi for no more than 300 or 400 baht (6 or 8 euros). This 3-star hotel cost us about 10 euros per night and is more than good for that price. It has a laundry service, internet, air conditioning and a TV in the rooms, a restaurant and an outdoor area for lunches or dinners and entertainment. You know, if you go back more than once to Bangkok and do not want to be too far from the airport I recommend this hotel. Greetings.

    sawasdee banglumpoo inn hotel

    Bangkok
I arrived at this hotel the same night that I was going to sleep in the Sawasdee Smile Inn, next to Khao san road. Luckily I checked on the internet that the Sawasdee Smile Inn is worse (and therefore cheaper) than the place that I had booked (hotel Sawasdee Krungthep Inn). Looking at the photos on the Internet the difference is evident. To solve the problem they sent me to Hotel Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, on Khao san road. The rooms are big and clean. Possibly the best places to be in the area of Khao san road if the budget isn´t a problem. Furthermore, it´s located on a back street, therefore the noise isn´t as unbearable as it is in other hotels.

    sawasdee smile inn hotel
    Hotels in
    Bangkok
The reception and the front porch terrace of the Sawasdee Smile Inn Hotel suggest that you are in a relatively good place, considering the area. However, the standard of the room does not match the price. It's a fairly small room with no furniture to put your things. The bathroom doesn´t have an enclosed shower, the very towels are very small and one sheet (which covered the mattress)was stained. The walls were pretty bad, but that's normal. You have to leave 300 B for the key deposit. The safe deposit box at reception is free. Take a look at their rates online and compare with those of intermediaries, such as www.Minube.Com or www.Octopustravel.Com You should go directly after 19 h. It´s possible to find last minute deals.

D&D Inn is the best hotel on Khao San Road. It was a rooftop pool, internet cafe, cooking school and massage facilities! The Dusit Thani was one of my favorite hotels during my tour of Thailand, mostly for its traditional decor. It's a five-star hotel and although it has been around for more than forty years, it certainly doesn't show its age. The rooms are huge and very well-maintained, and the hotel has everything: an outdoor pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, more than 11 restaurants, and 3 or 4 bars.

Some people go in search of the bustle of Bangkok, and others run away from it. At the end of Ayudhaya Road, a half hour walk from Khao Sn Road, you'll find several inns and good restaurants, all of which are nice and cheap. The Taewez is one of the nicest, with a restaurant, a garden with a pond and small temple, and basic, but spotless rooms, and starting at 9 euros for a single. A very complete breakfast is included, and the wifi is free for guests. I spent 6 nights here.

It has simple individual rooms for €10.00 and, if you're traveling as a couple and want to give your significant other a special surprise, an absolutely spectacular penthouse suite for only €50.00.

We booked this hotel at the airport counter; after a long plane journey, we felt like treating ourselves. The hotel is ideally located in the centre off the city. You can walk to a lot of shopping centres and Patpong Night Market. I don't know about the category of hotels in Thailand, but here in Europe, it would have five stars. The rooms are luxurious, and the breakfast buffet is spectacular.

This very nice place was recommended to me by a friend. Chakrabongse is an ancient villa on the Chao Phraya River, in the old part of Bangkok. The rooms overlooking the garden or the river are the prettiest in my opinion, and also the cheapest. There is a small pool where you can cool off on hot days, and in the evening you can enjoy dinner in the pavilion by the river.

Situated roughly in the center of town, it is a good place to stay in Bangkok. While it's not so close to the old part of the city nor to the more commercial area, it's not too far from anywhere, so you can get from one place to the next relatively easy, although in Taxi or Tuk-Tuk, smile if they catch you in the monsoon rains. It has a pool, spa, good breakfast and offers 5 different restaurants for lunch and dinner. In addition, they are very attentive and pay attention to all kinds of details. A highly recommended place to stay in Thailand.

If you're traveling in Thailand, staying at one of the Hostelling International hostels doesn't make much sense because the local guest houses and private hostels tend to be better and cheaper. That being said, the Hi Baan Thewet was wonderful. It's a small hostel (only 20 beds), but the people who work there are very friendly and speak very good English. Located in a very quiet area.

    Bangkok
One tip I always give people who ask me for advice about somewhere to stay in Thailand is that hotels here are very cheap, so it's worth paying a price a little above the minimum to enjoy 5-star comfort. This is the case of the Kingpower Pullman Hotel. It provides excellent service, with large rooms, and the most varied buffet. They have a free tuk tuk to pick you up and take you to the Victory Monument skytrain stop, a few minutes walk away. A double room costs about 60 € and is really worth it.

    Bangkok
What a great location! The Holiday Inn is right in the heart of Bangkok, so it's the perfect starting point to explore the city. There are a lot of places you can reach walking but you can always take a tuk-tuk. The hotel rooms are decorated in two colors, blue on one side and green on the other. The bathrooms have glass showers and Japanese-style scales to weigh yourself. Facilities include a small but well-equipped gym, an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, and a well-stocked breakfast buffet. If you're a smoker, be aware that Thailand isn't going to be the most welcoming destination for you: smoking is banned in almost all places, even in hotels. Here you could only smoke in the entrance or on a small terrace.

If you come to Bangkok, you're sure to visit Kousam Road, a neighborhood full of hostels and restaurants competing to attract tourists' attention. Kousam Road is always very busy, so you'll find no shortage of things to do and places to eat nearby.

The Amari Atrium Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotel chains in Thailand. It's located near the Pratunam shopping area, but don't get confused with the Amari Watergate, another hotel of the same chain. The airport is about 25 minutes away by taxi, and at certain times there's a free service that will take you to the shops and attractions. A hotel of this stature usually appears in honeymoon brochures, but it's really not that expensive when compared to similar offerings in Europe - you can stay here for 40 or 50 euros per night. If you're going to visit the city, this is a good choice. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos!

Greetings fellow travelers! In the heart of Bangkok we found a small hotel called Bally's Studio Suites, located in the Silom area well connected to get from the airport via the Express Line and later catch a metro or sky train in Silom. Located 300 meters from the nightclub district [poi = 70851] Patpong [/ poi] and the same distance in the opposite direction from Lumpini Park. The rooms are big and very clean with a plasma TV, wireless internet, bathroom, minibar, hairdryer, king-sized bed, etc. It´s a really good price for the quality and location. The room price is approx. 20 € A room for two people varies slightly, depending on the season. The metro station is just 50 meters away, by which you can access numerous points of interest including Siam and [poi = 167661] National Stadium [/ poi] where there are shopping centers like the [poi = 178231] Siam Paragon [/ poi ] or [poi = 91516] Hua Lampong Station [/ poi] from trains to various attractions such as Ayutthaya, Sukothai, Chiang Mai, etc.. or to access the Chinatown area and culture with the temples of the Golden Buddha, Reclining Buddha, Palacio Real, etc. DI would highly recommend recommended staying in the capital of Thailand.
