The apartments are located in the Alsace a quiet street in the heart of El Golf, near restaurants and within walking distance of supermarkets, banks, metro, parks and the Golf Club- Lions. The apartments are ideally suited for medium to long term stays and for business people. It is in a largely residential area, with lots to do such as shopping and dining, and is certainly in one of the safest areas around Santiago. It is very near Isidora Goyenechea avenidad near the main building, which has numerous restaurants and bars. Paeople say that it has the best atmosphere in Santiago!

    bellavista hostels
    Hotels in
    Santiago
I regret not having made a comment about this earlier, as I really think it's the best place to stay in Santiago. The staff are friendly, and it has a kitchen, a TV room, a living room, and two rooftop terraces where you can interact with the other customers. It's located in Bellavista, one of the most popular parts of the city. Take a room that doesn't face the street, as it can get quite noise. Highly recommended.

    happy house hostel
    Youth Hostels in
    Santiago
When we were all in Santiago we stayed at this hostel. It has both private rooms with their own bathrooms and others which don't, but you still sleep. It is very well located since it's near the center of Santiago and a few blocks from the Metro station "Los Heroes". A selling point for this hostel is the design of all its facilities and yard. A con is the breakfast which came with the room with private bath was supposedly free but was very bad. When there was juice the glasses were not there and vice versa. They didn't have coffee either, but if they did it probably would have been instant coffee and not the same. In addition, the prices were too high to be a hostel, so I think if I were to return I would look for another hostel in Santiago. However, I admit that the atmosphere was very striking and very spacious.

    ibis santiago providencia hotel
    Hotels in
    Santiago
The Ibis Santiago Providencia Hotel is located a few steps from the central bus station, and one of the first buildings you'll see once your arrive in Santiago. We had just arrived and given Santiago's reputation for being unsafe at night, we went ahead and got a room here (cost: 35,000 pesos, or about 50.00 euro). The rooms are nice and quiet and they TV has about a million channels. Breakfast is charged separately (3,000 pesos), but overall it was a pleasant stay.

    blue tree hotel
    Hotels in
    Santiago
The Blue Tree hotel is a real oasis in Santiago, comprising several buildings in one of the most beautiful streets in the Chilean capital. The entire hotel is arranged so that the modern, and the old, mingle together in an atmosphere of perfect tranquility. Of course, luxury comes at a price, and it costs about 124 dollars for a double room, or 115 for a single. Highly recommended if it's in your price range!

    hotel plaza londres
    Hotels in
    Santiago
At the bottom of the Plaza de Londres you'll find this establishment, which offers services beyond the basic hostel packages. Room rates: space in a hostel room goes for $20, and a single costs $40. Prices go up to $83 for a room for four people. There's a kitchen area, with internet and breakfast included. It's in a very quiet area with no noise. The decor is really rather basic and no-frills, but it's a good place to rest.

    hogar de cristo
    Hostels in
    Santiago
You never know what can happen on a journey ... in our case, we found ourselves with no money in a foreign country! Luckily, in Santiago you can spend a night in the "Hogar de Cristo", which is a homeless shelter. A night costs from 0 to 200 Chilean pesos (up to $0.15), and you have a shared room with the city's homeless. You eat and shower with them - a truly humbling experience. Don't fear discomfort or illness. A good choice in case of emergency.

This hotel gives the impression of being too big for its ambitions. The poorly-lit rooms overlook a parking lot, and it costs 42 dollars (31 euros) for a single, up to 65 dollars (48 euros) for a room for four. Very shoddy decor.

    hotel las hortensias
    Hotels in
    Santiago
The Las Hortensias is located in the Providencia neighborhood in Santiago, near the center, near the Metro and several important touristic points. When I was in Santiago, I stayed here and I liked it a lot, because it has very good service, 24 hour reception, and is in a very pleasant and nice neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious, and equipped with heating. This site is perfect for the Chilean winter.

    aji hostel
    Youth Hostels in
    Santiago
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. It has rooms for every taste and budget and it's located in a very quiet part of the city, but it's still really well connected to the must-see tourist attractions. They offer everything a tourist could possibly need at reasonable prices during reasonable times of day (they even held onto a package for me while I was traveling in South America for three months). They have some attractive discounts for the ISIC card, or for stays longer than 5 days. But the most stand-out thing about this hostel is the friendly treatment, from all the staff, and from the owners. They really make you feel at home. Also there to orient and help you with respect to what to do in the city and practically the whole country, they give you a lot of brochures and information so you can move around as you please within all of the little hideaways, not just the well-known places. Furthermore, they organize various weekly "events" like a free pasta night on Wednesdays, sour pisco on Thursdays and an awesome barbeque on Fridays (all free). Also, you have access to their terrace to have little get togethers of your own.

The Red House is my favourite hostel, because I've made many friends there. The house is huge, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is also very large, with several stoves, refrigerators and more. It has a huge garden, pool, jacuzzi, bar and more. The staff are friendly, and will make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

    hotel orly
    Hotels in
    Santiago
The Hotel Orly is highly recommended by all travel sites, and for good reason - it offers optimum value for money. For starters, it's in the Providencia neighbourhood, the perfect place for tourists, with plenty of options in terms of shopping, bars and restaurants. It's close to the centre and various attractions, as well as the metro network. Another advantage of the Orly is its charm: the hotel has a cozy feel, with a glazed winter garden in the breakfast area, and free coffee throughout the day. The queen rooms are super comfortable, with excellent beds; some of them also have balconies offering beautiful views. The bathrooms are very spacious, equipped with heating - very important for anyone travelling in the winter. The hotel offers free wifi and two computers available to the guests. There's a cafe on the ground floor, as well as room service. The price of all this is between $ 120 (single), and $ 165 (junior suite).

    vila franca petit hotel
    Hotels in
    Santiago
It is known for looking like a grandfather's home, which is the family atmosphere that Vila Franca Petit Hotel offers. Undoubtedly one of the best places in Santiago, close to the metro station Pedro de Valdivia and the famous Astrid and Gaston restaurant (you can walk peacefully), in addition, the rooms are very nice, although a little small , but it has heating (which counts for a lot in the icy Santiago). The employees of Villa Franca, Gloria, are very friendly, and take care of all the details so the guests feel at home.

    hostal andes
    Hostels in
    Santiago
Located just steps from the Metro of Fine Arts in the city of Santiago, this hostel has everything you need; cleanliness, friendliness, great prices, and the localization is one of the best in Santiago, if you go as a tourist and are interested in the city center. There's lots of activity; restaurants, bars, museums (including the Museum of Fine Arts) and by metro, everything is a few simple steps. Its the ideal base to walk around downtown ,or take the metro to go anywhere in the city, or to the bus station. At night the area is still alive, and is transformed into a street filled with restaurants (good gastronomic offer) and bars to have fun. I was in this hostel twice, and I can recommend it widely to all travelers and backpackers wanting a good night in Santiago at a very good price.

    hotel regal pacific santiago
    Hotels in
    Santiago
Santiago is the most visited city in Chile, both by tourists and people travelling for business. Naturally, it is well prepared for visitors, with hotels of all categories. This is where you'll find Chile's finest five-star hotels, like the Regal Pacific, a luxury hotel in the upscale neighbourhood of Las Condes, a major shopping district with easy access to public transport and close to fancy boutiques, very creative restaurants, banks, and shopping centres. The hotel has eighteen floors with luxury rooms, a health centre, sports facilities, and a business area. The restaurant, La Fattoria, serves Mediterranean, Chilean, and international cuisine, and the piano bar offers the chance to relax over a refreshing cocktail.

    Apartment Hotels in
    Santiago
Some people traveling for business stay in a city for a long time, so it's not convenient to stay in a hotel. Others simply prefer to have a furnished apartment, so they feel at home. In Santiago, as you'd expect from a capital city, there are plenty of options to suit these kinds of travelers. The Travel Place Lyon, in the commercial area of Providencia, has apartments with one or two bedrooms. They are tastefully decorated, with parquet floors, chocolate brown leather sofas and contemporary details. All the apartments have telephones with unlimited local calls, internet access, maid service and laundry, as well as a rooftop pool, gym, and underground parking. But for me, the best part has to be the spectacular view of the Andes.

This five star hotel offers unparalleled luxury that no other accommodation in the area can match. It may not be too budget-friendly, but if you can afford it, go for it!

holiday inn santiago - airport terminal
    Hotels in
    Santiago
I can't stand the stress of getting to the airport at rush hour. It's terrible in any capital city in Latin America, and Santiago is no exception. If you want to be on time for your flight, it's best to stay at a nearby hotel rather than rely on a last-minute sprint through the airport. A good choice is the Holiday Inn Santiago Airport Terminal, a comfortable hotel with a variety of different types of rooms, and everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. It has a fully equipped business centre with fax, photocopier, printers, internet and computers, a gym, indoor pool, saunas, and jacuzzis. There's also a restaurant/bar and room service, and multi-function halls for meetings and other events.
