Close to town: tranquil, swimming pool and fantastic views of the Segovia sunset.
Eating, of course, is expensive. Good place where we finished our trip, very highly recommended. Tomorrow end of journey.
This is a beautiful guesthouse in the center of Segovia, next to the Plaza Mayor. The hotel is stylishly decorated and very comfortable, with TV and air conditioning in rooms. When you arrive, the reception staff will give you the keys so that you can come in and out of the hotel whenever you please. The prices are good. Getting to the hotel by car is a complicated task since most of the downtown area is pedestrianized. It's better to leave the car in the Ezequiel Gonzalez car park and walk to the hotel. In short, highly recommended accommodation.
We enjoyed a very romantic anniversary at Los Arcos and really enjoyed the tremendous views and excellent service. We had a wonderful dinner at La Cocina de Segovia, with great wine and, of course, my fantastic boyfriend! I recommend the cod in the restaurant, but the pork is the star of the show and a good example of the local cuisine. I would love to return and get to know the city a bit better.
In the heart of Segovia lies this cozy 3 star hotel - Museum. Set in a 15th century building that's been impressively restored, Honorable Mention Art and Heritage Awards 2006. Within its walls you can enjoy spectacular 15th century Mudejar coffered ceilings, Roman remains and beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Facilities: free internet access, bar, restaurant and conference and meeting rooms (one of them in the Aljibe which is the largest city).
A small hotel with 107 rooms, just 10 minutes from the aqueduct. Its privileged location offers a beautiful view of the city and the mountains. It features an outdoor pool and a spa to relax in. It is the perfect place to end a day sightseeing in Segovia. It costs a little more, but I think it is worth it.
Las Sirenas Hotel is famous for hosting all the Hollywood stars who rolled into town when Spain was a filming location for blockbusters and has an autograph book which is a gem in itself, with hundreds of autographs from artists like Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Jean Fontaine, Alec Guinness, Sophia Loren and many more. The rear of the hotel, where most of its rooms are, have wonderful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. On the downside, the hotel needs a bit of a renovation, as the floor creaks and the furniture is from the 50s.
Through booking.com, we got the family room (# 201) for only 82 €. The room had 2 double beds and a single bed. It slept 2 adults and 3 children (5 to 7 years). The room was very spacious, bright and overlooking the inner terrace. The bathroom was very nice and the whole room was tastefully decorated. An excellent deal and the perfect location, just meters from the aqueduct. I would visit again.
We found this accommodation at the last minute; walking near the aqueduct, we decided to stop by and ask if they had any vacancies. A charming place, all very new, casual but relaxing. It has just nine rooms spread across three floors (no lift). They had wifi, but our room on the second floor didn't have much signal. A good, economical choice for visiting Segovia.
We spent a couple of nights in this strange hotel. It's fairly well-located, less than a five minutes' walk to both the cathedral and the Alcazar. The building is quite old. Our bed wasn't very large and it sagged in the middle. The water was murky, and the bathroom wasn't clean enough to wash comfortably. It's an old hotel, so you can hear the people in the next room every time they take a shower or flush the toilet. Should have one less star and a lower price.
We chose the Camping Acueducto on the outskirts of Segovia. It's a good, quiet place to rest but not the best place to see the city as you're quite far from the center. Near the campsite there's a restaurant and not much else, and wifi is only available in the area nearest to the reception. On the other hand, there's table tennis and a play area for the kids. In summer, you can enjoy the swimming pool, which is so small that it has no lifeguard.
Very good location as it is only 100 meters from the aqueduct. Some of the rooms even have a direct view of the aqueduct itself. The parking costs 9 € for the day, 5 minutes walk away. Very good value for money
This is a well-located, economical hotel with a decent breakfast buffet. Except for the inevitable grumpy waiter, the staff are friendly and warm, and the restaurant food is good and plentiful. The rooms are spacious although they aren't cleaned to a high standard, especially the bathroom. Some rooms have air conditioning units right on the windows so they can be a bit noisy in summer. Apparently they have deals with Foursquare. If you are looking for a hotel for the night in Segovia this is more than acceptable. For its two stars: 7/10.
It often happens that you decide to go to a certain place but it is impossible to find accommodation because everywhere is fully booked. Hotels, cottages, pensions .... Once you're already looking forward to travel to that place, it is difficult to remove him from your mind and replace it with any other for it to be nice. Sometimes we forget what are called "vacation homes" which are beautiful houses or apartments that you can rent for short periods of time, and they are often very personal. They give you the keys and fully rented housing. It is an unforgettable experience. In Segovia I recommend a house with lots of charm, which has a hot tub and two fireplaces, music, patio with barbecue .... in a beautiful village 5 min. from Segovia, where the traveler can find the comfort and cleanliness of its rooms Visit: http://www.entreacebedas.es. I also recommend a new apartment in Revenga, 5 min. Segovia, to spend the summer months, Easter, long weekends .... ideal for families of 4 or couples seeking the warmth of an apartment ..... truly recommended.
I stayed with my partner at this hotel. The staff were very friendly. Good facilities, the hotel is well maintained. It's in Plaza Mayor, I recommend a room with a view. The hotel is perfect for visiting Segovia as you can walk to all the sights in less than 5 minutes. Hotel that I'll recommend to my friends!
Renovated facilities of a part of the San Antonio el Real Monastery with a cloister, flirty rooms, tastefully decorated, like in a palace! Free WIFI, car park and central location. The breakfast buffet is incredible, the employees are friendly and efficient, the place inspires relaxation and tranquility. Transports you even for a moment to another time. Without doubt, the best hotel in Segovia.
El Capricho is a beautiful house in Otero de Herreros with three bedrooms, one double, and two twin. They have a living room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. It is located just 20 km from Segovia 75 from Madrid and 8 from the Riofrio Palace.
This hotel is located in a XVI century house that retains the charm of yesteryear, combined with all the modern amenities and luxuries needed for an unforgettable stay. Each room has everything you need for a perfect evening. There is a cafeteria and meeting rooms that are available for events and conferences.
