The Novotel Milano Malpensa is located right next to the airport, so it's not close to the city centre, and is most convenient if you have to stay temporarily with an early flight. Like all Accor hotels, the rooms are quite large and have been recently redecorated. There's a flat-screen TV, desk and sofa, a kingsize bed and a beautiful bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel runs shuttles to Malpensa airport all day, and in the reception you can view a screen showing departure and arrival times of flights. Some rooms have wifi, which is free, but you have to ask for the code. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are quite expensive: 15 euros for a plate of hams, 20 euros for a chicken breast with vegetables and 6 euros for a glass of wine, but in the area, you won't find anything better.
This hotel is located on a quiet street close to the elegant Avenida Corso Buenos Aires, so it's in an excellent spot for accessing tourist sites, shops and restaurants. The nearest metro station is Porta Venezia. It is a good hotel with all the facilities you could want: the rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms, the bed linen is soft and good quality. It has cable TV and internet, and the staff are great. It's like a luxury hotel, but with moderate prices - highly recommended.
This hotel really enchanted me ... it's not that it's particularly beautiful (it looks like a great old hotel, though), but the service is just fantastic: the buffet is varied, and high quality (the orange juice is particularly good, made with Valencia oranges), and when you get to the room after having traveled through the city, you can enjoy a bath with bubbles (yes, the bathtub has a jacuzzi!), and sleep in a comfortable bed ... true luxury! The minibar is free, and replenished every day (no alcoholic beverages), and they also have Pay TV, bathrobe, slippers ... And I was facing the train station, which is ideally located. Well connected by train and metro.
The modern twelve-story Palace has a beautiful terrace, hanging gardens and a penthouse with spectacular views of the amazing and friendly city of Milan. It is ideal for travelling on business. But you can also enjoy a well-deserved vacation to be with the family. The staff is very friendly and willing to help.
I stayed at this hotel in May 2012. My first impressions were very good, but it doesn't really seem like a 5-star hotel. It is located near the Fira de Milano, and the metro is practically next door. The neighbourhood is quiet, without many shops or restaurants - just a hypermarket and a McDonalds. The facade is that of a modern or renovated building, so you get quite a surprise when you enter and see a luxurious but old-fashioned interior. We had a triple room (double bed) overlooking an inner courtyard (no noise) - perfect to rest. The beds were very good, and the bathroom was well-equipped, with plenty of amenities. The TV was stuck on a piece of antique furniture along with the minibar (well stocked). It was fairly clean, although on the desk and furniture there was some dust (I think it's a detail they need to work on, especially for customers highly allergic to it). The breakfast buffet is very varied with great ham. I recommend it, but I don't really think of it as 5-star standard.
Although it isn´t located in the very center of the town, it´s just 3 metro stops away, which is not bad (the metro is super fast and runs very very very often). The Hotel Edy is a family pension, very quiet and the staff are very friendly and outgoing. It also has a Chinese-Italian restaurant located opposite, which is very cheap, and you can enjoy a scrumptious pizza at the same time as delicious fried noodles, lemon chicken ... it´s a small banquet! This restaurant is great. Returning to the hotel ... It's nothing spectacular, but considering how expensive it is to stay in Italy and the poor quality of the hotels, the Hotel Edy offers a good deal, tranquility and nicely fitted rooms. I consider it ideal for young people who want to spend a few days away ;) You have no luxuries but it´s "cheap" and you can get to the city center really quickly.
Lake Como one of the most popular places in northern Italy, which unfortunately means that the prices of accommodation here can be sky-high. Fortunately you can find some pretty decent places to stay, without breaking the bank. One such place is the Albergo La Vignetta, which certainly is not impressive palace, but a pension with certain charm in the village of Cernobbio, on the west side of the lake.
This is a 4-star, centrally located hotel. It is about 10 minutes walk from Central Station, next to Corso Buenos Aires (one of the shopping streets of Milan), and the Lima metro station (direct line to the Duomo) is literally on the doorstep of the hotel. Overall it is a pretty good hotel, maybe the rooms (at least ours) were a little small. The breakfast is quite a complete buffet, served on the 6th floor in a very nice setting. The hotel also has a gym, a relaxation room and a heated pool, which were small but satisfactory.
SItuated in the heart of the new commercial and residential center of the city, hotel guests can make use of a parking lot with 27 places and 113 rooms fully equipped with all amenities. Each is equipped with modern style, comfortable and at the same time practical. This hotel is close to the Vïa Cassala street from where you can have access to the train station and the exhibition center. Those who for business or pleasure want to spend a few days at the hotel, enjoy amenities and service from the chain. If you are looking for a menu in which natural, health and good taste are combined with traditional Italian cuisine, the hotel restaurant stands as an alternative of quality. Led by Chef Benedetto Bellisima, the cuisine consists of a wide range of dishes to enjoy a high standard of food, in a quiet and elegant atmosphere, using for processing market products that are high standard. In this urban hotel in Brescia may select from a menu specially designed to satisfy the most demanding tastes.

Hotel Naviglio Grande is near the small center of Corsico, in southwestern Milan. There's parking for guests and all rooms have wireless internet, satellite TV and air conditioning. The conference centre of Fiera Milano in Rho is 15 minutes away. There are 47 rooms available.
Considering the area of the hotel, it's not too bad. The check-in was a very cordial process. The rooms were fine. There was wifi in the hallway and to use the internet in your room, you need a wire. As for the food, the dining room was a bit far from the rooms (the hotel itself has a distribution and somewhat rare) was the continental breakfast, simple. It is in a great location: it's not Milan, but outside (Sesto San Giovanni), but; Metro (Line 1 red) and the bus goes very close to the city center. The nearest bus stop is a 5 Minute walk. By metro it is ten minutes to downtown Milan. The surrounding neighborhood is not bad (we ended up living two blocks away in a rented apartment) near there are pizzerias, restaurants, the odd trade, supermarkets ... In short it is a neighborhood "worker", of people doing life in Milan and just about to sleep. The hotel also had parking (10 € the day, I think) and other services. The hotel is good if you are just there for sleeping. Cleaning an 8/10; Customer service a 7/10; location 7/10, Food 6/10; Value for money 7/10.
They say this is one of the most gorgeous places on earth, and in winter has a special appeal that you might not know about. It's called the absence of tourists, spectacular scenery, snow, and cold. This is one of the few hotels in the lake that does not close in winter. It is located in the historic center of one of the prettiest villages that border, from there you can equipment moves with the car on the ferry on either shore to visit all the small and beautiful villages with Romanesque churches with high steeples that dot to over the 46 km. Long has this wonderful lake (Bellagio is located in the center of this). Renovated in 2005, is a small, run by the same family, the Borelli family, since 1922. It shows the family atmosphere, and detail of the hostess at the cross-stitch embroidery or work that decorate the rooms, fresh croissants tastefully placed on the breakfast buffet in the hotel cleaning, and other many details. The hotel has 18 rooms available to its guests, along with a nice dining conservatory and a garden which can make use in good weather, it sure is nice to sit there warmth. Sometimes in the winter the trees are covered with large tarps to protect them from the cold weather. The price is pretty good, too, it's only 70 euros with breakfast. This is a small, family-run hotel that I would recommend to you in a heartbeat.
I have not experienced the pleasure of seeing the beauty of any hotel in Italy since I am not familiar with this country, I have only seen it through photos, movies and stories that I have heard throughout my life from people that were born there. My grandmother, Luisa Bonomi, was born there in 1900. She was the daughter of Genoese parents and she shared a lot with me about the history the dialect there.

It's the perfect spot to relax, in a quiet, tree-lined avenue with restricted traffic, next to Al Corso Buenos Aires, one of the most important shopping streets in the entire European continent. Just twenty minutes from Linate airport and 45 minutes from Malpensa.

It has now been rebuilt as a hotel. It has 58 rooms, a spa, swimming pool, treatment room ... The special suite features a unique hot stone, lounge, and bar. A very good option if you want to visit Bergamo and the surrounding area. The apartment is very nice and has everything you need for a holiday. The owners are very friendly and attentive. The pictures on the website reflect the reality of what you will find. It is situated in the lower part of Bergamo. It is situated in good area to rest and sleep and is walking distance to the center of Bergamo. You can also get there taking the bus into the center or to other bus stops and train stations. Also nearby you can find two large supermarkets, Auchan and Esselunga. In the area you will find LE CAFE MIGNON (Via Giovanni Battista Moroni, 183) a cafe where you can have breakfast.
Our hotel in Milan wasn't really a big deal - cheap, off centre but with good transport (bus and metro). There wasn't much room for suitcases and no room service, but the room did offer a terrace with great views of the streets of Milan. The breakfast is quite normal. But it's worth it, with a bakery next door, the metro around the corner, and cheap rates.
The Uptown Palace is a very nice luxury hotel located in the south of Milan. In fact, I'd say that its location is its main selling point. It's situated in a very quiet residential area but is till only a ten minute walk from the cathedral, many shops, and the historic city center. The hotel has large, beautiful rooms (the smallest is a suite with a separate living room). The rooms are all soundproofed and come with bathrooms straight out of your wildest dreams! Finally, the breakfast. It's served buffet style and is superb (meats and local cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries, etc...).
An interesting, affordable option if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Milan. It's close to the subway, which will take you to the city centre in five minutes. It has free wifi, parking, and a restaurant. It's nice to walk downtown because you can appreciate the lively shopping streets, and discover churches and buildings off the tourist trail. The receptionists will offer you some very good advice about what to see and do in the city.
This hostel near Porta Romana is a very good alternative for staying in Milan. Many students use it as a place to sleep while looking for a longer-term rental in the city. Two beds in a room of 8 people are € 25 per person. In addition, the hostel has foosball, arcade games, and other common areas to hang out.
It is a 4-star hotel with all the amenities. The reception is really friendly: they serve you well, and help you in whatever way they can. It's close to the airport of Orio Serio, and there's easy transport to get there, either by the city bus line 1, or € 16 for a taxi you can order at the hotel. Its location relative to the center of Bergamo is not the best, but you can take different buses that will get you downtown. From there it's best to use the funicular railway up to the Città Alta, what truly beautiful city. The breakfast service is also good, although beware if you arrive at 10am on the dot - that's when they close the kitchen!
The Hotel du Lac, in Italy, has an ideal location, with spectacular views of the lake. It offers executive rooms, with relaxing, spectacular and beautiful views of the lake. It has a warmly decorated living room where guests can have breakfast. The restaurant is of very good quality with highly elaborate food presentation. Under a romantic atmosphere, it's ideal to enjoy the moonlight on the terrace (weather permitting). Valet parking.
